Did you know that the average American uses about 100 gallons of water per day? People living in certain areas of the world have access to less than 5 gallons of fresh water per person per day! Renaissance Renovations has teamed up with Thirst Project to END the global water crisis. As a professional pressure washing service, our line of work wouldn't exist without water. But we know the significance of water goes far beyond our work at Renaissance.
Thirst Project is a nonprofit organization that works with the support of young people to end the global water crisis by building freshwater wells in developing communities that need safe, clean drinking water. As the world’s leading youth water activism organization, Thirst Project travels across the United States speaking at schools to educate students about the global water crisis and then challenging them to do something about it!
Waterborne diseases kill more children every single year than AIDS and Malaria combined.
Small children typically do not have strong enough immune systems to fight diseases like
cholera, dysentery, or schistosomiasis. By providing a community with safe drinking water, disease rates can drop up to 88% virtually overnight. Child mortality rates can even drop up to 90% overnight!

Running a professional pressure washing business consumes a lot of water, every day, to provide a service that most people on this Earth would consider a luxury. At Renaissance Renovations, we wanted to take action to counter our daily use of water.
Thirst Project guarantees that 100% of all public donations go directly towards clean water projects. That was all we needed to hear to convince us to partner with them and their efforts to raise awareness and generate funds to supply clean water to people in need all over the world.
Renaissance Renovations has launched its own Thirst Project campaign. Our goal of $12,000 is enough money to fund a well to supply water to an entire community. In addition to the option of donating
directly to our campaign, our customers automatically contribute to the cause. We will be directly donating 1% of our revenue to Thirst Project. What does this mean?
